The engine needs lots of careful skilled maintenance, which may not be your interest, and it is hard to find skilled mechanics to do the work. The engine is highly-strung, and not forgiving and tractable like your BMW, the riding position is hell at low speeds and only works at high speed, so if you do a lot of riding in the mountains then it might be for you, or if you tend to just take short rides to the cafe it will be ok. Difficult to answer! First, as Jed says, it is too expensive, knock 10,000 off and it may be ok, but this is a serious bike for dedicated owners I absolutely love these bikes, but they are not for everybody.
